Qualifications for Direct Care Worker:
One year work experience as a Home Health Aide or in a similar healthcare role
No experience?? Ask about our Direct Care Worker Training Program!!!
Formal experience not required to care for a loved one.

Job Responsibilities for Direct Care Workers, DCW:
Activities of daily living
Light housekeeping
Bathing
Grooming
Toileting
Nail care
Range of motion / exercises
Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
Oral feeding
Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
Assisting with ambulation
Medication assistance
