Position Summary
The Lead Director, Enterprise Strategy (Digital Product) role will be responsible for collaborating across Enterprise Strategy and working with businesses to develop and implement strategies for our highest priority digital, data, analytics, and technology (DDAT)-enabled initiatives. This includes developing the long-term strategy to be approved by the CVS C-Suite, identifying net-new opportunities for growth and profitability, and partnering closely with senior leadership and business partners to drive decision-making and ensure execution of key strategic initiatives. This position will help shape technology vision, enabling innovation, and bring understanding of the IT trends that can create business value. These initiatives will optimize the consumer experience, find the best ways to integrate our assets, and maximize growth and value for the enterprise. The individual will help enhance and advance the value the organization delivers for the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities include:
Managing cross-functional efforts to identify new white-space opportunities for further corporate investment
Leading strategy development with the leadership teams of identify new business opportunities and enhance the profitability of existing ventures
Supporting the stand-up of new strategic initiatives, entities and/or business units
Communicating strategies and opportunities to C-Suite audiences
Driving internal optimization efforts within the digital, data, analytics and technology (DDAT) Portfolio of companies
Leading ad-hoc, high-priority strategic efforts for the C-Suite team
Conducting market research and competitive intelligence, utilizing internal and external sources, to inform strategic recommendations
Developing and maintaining relationships with internal senior leadership teams and key stakeholders
You will be working in a hybrid role (3 days a week onsite) in one of the CVS Health or Aetna offices in Buffalo Grove, IL; Chicago, IL; NYC; Hartford, CT or Wellesley, MA.
Required Qualifications
6 years experience in Strategy and/or Corporate Development and technical/functional experience in one or several of the following areas within the healthcare sector: management consulting, digital strategy, financial analysis, technical product development, mergers and acquisitions.
4 years experience in Market trends analysis, understanding of competitive landscape, customer needs, and internal capabilities to support the identification of strategic opportunities; ability to provide actionable insights and recommendations based on such analysis.
3 years experience working with senior leadership to help define long-term business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives and key results (OKRs). Experience presenting to and collaborating with Executive Stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a concise, logical, and consistent manner to influence internal and external partners.
Comfort collaborating across multiple business units, functional areas, shared services, and stakeholders to achieve a common goal.
Cross-functional business knowledge including Healthcare payor, PBM, retail, or delivery
Ability to think and act strategically.
Demonstrated ability to simplify complex details to coordinate solution components across multiple work streams.
Education
BA/BS required
MBA in Healthcare Administration strongly preferred
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 – $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
