Maintenance Technician

Description:
The Maintenance Technician installs, repairs equipment and physical structures, electrical systems, and general routine maintenance. Patching, painting, general repair, and replacement work as required. Performs preventative maintenance to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems as well as cleaning, changing oils and replacing worn parts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Requirements:
– High school or GED diploma.
– Two plus years of experience in building and maintenance work.
– Ability to read and interpret service manuals and drawings.
– Must have strong organizational and communication skills.
– Ability to detect defects in equipment and making proper repairs.
– Ability to work from sketches, diagrams, and prints, and in the care and use of tools and equipment used in trades involved.
