Registered Nurse – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Tradition Hospitals Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) oversees the health and wellbeing of premature and critically ill newborns. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the NICU, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care, monitoring patients health, assessing patients pain levels, administering medication and maintaining up-to-date patient records. You may be required to float to the NICU at Cleveland Clinic Martin North Hospital.

The hours of this per diem nights position is 7PM-7:30AM with a minimum requirement of 4 shifts in a 6 week period.

Required qualifications for the ideal candidate include:

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN preferred.

Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).

Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) must be presented upon hire.

Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
